Free Groceries from the Mobile Food Truck

Where?  Waverly First Pres Parking Lot, 459 Park Ave.

When?   Third Wednesday of every month (next truck:Aug 18, 2010)

Time?     12:00 - 2:00 pm

Who?     Anyone who needs food. You do not need to qualify to get groceries.

Paperwork?   No writing required. You will be asked to give your name, address, and number of people in your household.

 Helpful Hints:

  • Some people bring push carts or bags to put the groceries in. Boxes are available at the truck.
  • The groceries are distributed outdoors. Dress for the weather.
  • Items vary from month to month. Common items are fresh potatoes or other veggie; fresh fruit, dairy products, baked goods, bottled or canned drinks.

The grocery giveaway is a joint effort of Catholic Charities, The Southern Tier Food Bank, Waverly First Presbyterian Church, and willing volunteers from the community.
